San Jose Parks - Follow the Guidelines
Park Amenity Reopening:
By Order of the County of Santa Clara County Health Officer, the City of San José's Department of Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services closed more than 1,000 amenities that are reopening in a phased approach. Golf courses reopened on Tuesday, May 5 with added protocols and health guidelines. On Saturday, May 9, the following amenities re-opened: pickleball, bocce ball, tennis courts, disc golf, skateparks and horseshoes. Due to the large number of amenities, reopening will take place over the course of the following weeks and will be staggered throughout the month of May. Those who choose to use opened park amenities are expected to abide by all posted signage as well as the Orders and guidance from the County Health Officer. This includes staying out of closed amenities, no sharing of recreational equipment, and only using open facilities with members of your household.
