On Tuesday, July 18th, I was notified of a residential break-in the Murdock Neighborhood in District 1. A neighbor had called 911 to report suspicious activity at his neighbor’s home. San José Police Officers were dispatched and were successful in apprehending multiple suspects involved in the alleged crime. I’d like to thank the residents of the Murdock Neighborhood that called to report the activity and I’d also like to thank San Jose Policé Department for quickly and safely arresting the alleged suspects. A special thank you to Western Division Captain Tommy Troy who kept me updated on PD’s progress in apprehending the suspects. This is a reminder of how important it is to look out for one another. Please get involved, get to know your neighbors, stay connected, host a Neighborhood Watch Meeting, or host a Driveway Meet and Greet. Again, stay active and look out for one another. Always feel free to contact my office with your questions and concerns or for help organizing an event at [email protected] or (408) 535-4901.
